QUICK STORY: The No. 1 women's lacrosse team dominated Columbia College (S.C.) on Senior Day, winning 23-0 Saturday afternoon.
RECORDS: The Bees improve to 9-1 while the Koalas fall to 3-8.
SENIOR DAY: Prior to the start of the game, the eight graduating members of the team were honored –

DID YOU KNOW? With her 11 draw controls from today's game,
Sydney Knego broke the program record in draw controls for a single season. She now has 86 and the previous record was 78 set by
Casey Summerson last season. The junior is 22 draw controls from breaking the career record.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Bees scored 15 goals in the first-half and eight in the second.
Harper Barth started the goal scoring with back to back goals in the first. Knego followed up with two goals of her own and then Nabridge,
Allison Thierry and
Tatum Crouch scoring one of their own with the last coming at the 17:45 mark.
Mackenzie Demott scored two goals two minutes apart to give the Bees a 9-0 lead with 14:14 remaining in the first half.
Sophia Milia, Nabridge, St. John, Dowgiallo, Knego and Thierry closed out the half with one goal each with the last coming at the 2:53 mark.
The second half went very much the same as the first with Stahl picking up the first goal 15 seconds into the half.
Jordan Mitchell and Knego scored back to back goals before Stahl scored her second of the game with 17:20 remaining in the half.
St. John, Mitchell, Demott and Milia closed out the game with four goals to give the Bees the 23-0 win.
BOX SCORE: Knego led the way for the Bees with a game-high four goals, three assists and a game-high seven points. She also totaled a game-high 11 draw controls.
Mitchell totaled two goals and four assists for six points to go along with six draw controls while Demott totaled three goals. Stahl, St. John, Thierry, Nabridge, Barth and Milia all totaled two goals each while Dowgiallo and Crouch tallied one apiece.
Together, the Bees totaled 17 caused turnovers with Stahl causing four with St. John,
Sydney Bowers, Devereaux and
Morgan Willett adding two each.
Goalies Lortz and Vieira split time in the cage with Lortz picking up two saves and the shut-out win.
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will face Georgetown College at Life University tomorrow, April 7 at 1:00 p.m.
