QUICK SCORE: The No. 5 ranked SCAD women's tennis team fell 5-0 to No. 2 Keiser University in The Sun Conference final Friday afternoon.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 11-3 while the Seahawks improve to 18-4 overall.
DOUBLES ACTION: The Bees trailed 3-0 at the completion of doubles. Pryia Sukkanha and
Eika Johanna Weber fell 8-5 at number one doubles while
Haley Morrissey and
Tova Tilk Tobrand fell 8-2 at number two doubles.
Valerie Droop and
Nicole Katzarkov dropped their number three doubles match 8-0.
SINGLES ACTION: SCAD fought hard and despite leading in three of the six doubles, the team was not able to pull off the win.
Droop fell 6-1, 6-1 at number four singles while Katzarkov lost 6-0, 6-2 at number six singles.
Sukkanha was leading 6-3 at number one singles while Morrissey was leading 6-3, 0-1 at number two singles.
Weber was tied 6-0, 1-6 going into the third set at number three singles when the match concluded while Tobrand was down 1-6, 1-0 at number five singles.
