Women’s Tennis Continues to Dominate

Box Score QUICK HIT: The SCAD Savannah women's tennis team defeated Ave Maria in straight sets at home Saturday afternoon winning 9-0.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 5-1, 4-1 TSC this season while the Gyrenes are now 0-8, 0-6 TSC.
 
DOUBLES: The Bees took a 3-0 lead at the completion of doubles as Priya Sukkanhaand Johanna Weberdefeated their opponents 8-0 at number one doubles.
 
The number two doubles team of Tova Tilk Tobrandand Haley Morrissey won 8-0 at number two doubles while Valerie Droop and Brittany Waugh alsowon 8-0 at number three.
 
SINGLES: SCAD finished the straight-set win in singles action. Sukkanha won 6-0, 6-0 at number one singles while Morrissey, at number two singles, won 6-0, 3-0 after her opponent retired. Weber also won 6-0, 6-0 at number three singles.
 
At number four singles, Droop won 6-0, 6-0 whileNicole Katzarkovwon 6-0, 6-0 at number five singles.
 
Tilk Tobrand won 6-0, 6-0 in the number six singles position.
