Box Score QUICK STORY: The No. 11 SCAD women's tennis team defeated No. RV Southeastern 7-2 in a Sun Conference match on Saturday.
 
RECORDS: The Bees Improve to 3-1, 2-1 TSC while the Fire is now 3-1, 2-1.
 
DOUBLES ACTION: Priya Sukkanha and Johanna Weber won 8-4 at No. 1 doubles to give the Bees their first point. Haley Morrissey and Tova Tilk Tobrand scored the next point with an 8-5 win at No. 2 doubles.
 
Nicole Katzarkov and Brittany Waugh fell 9-7 at No. 3 doubles.
 
SINGLES ACTION: Sukkanha dispatched her No. 1 singles opponent 6-2, 6-2 while Weber won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. 
 
Katzarkov and Tobrand won 6-3, 6-4 and 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 and No. 5 singles, respectively. 
 
Francine Voit won her first collegiate match 4-6, 6-4, 13-11 at No. 6 singles.
 
Morrisseey fell 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles.
 
COACH O: "The women's team did a great job of staying focused and determined in Lakeland today" states Head Coach Ken Obermeier. "Facing some adversity, they made the recommended adjustments and won some very difficult matches. Things are coming together well as we continue to improve."
