SAVANNAH, Ga. – SCAD men's swimmer Dan Chevere and women's swimmer Sloan Sizemore have been named the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Swimmers of the Week for the week ending December 8.

Chevere (Toa Alta, Puerto Rico / Interactive Design/Game Development) led the Bees to a second-place finish at the 15^th Annual SCAD Swimming Invite on December 5-7.

The freshman won the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:01.29 while also coming in sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke and 18^th in the 200-yard IM. Chevere was also a member of the second-place 400-yard medley relay team who finished with a time of 3:24.8.

Sizemore (Popano Beach, Fla./ Animation) is a transfer student from the University of Indianapolis who won both the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle with her respective times of 23:31 and 51.28.

The sophomore also finished fourth in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:52.18 while swam on the seventh-place 200-yard medley relay, the third-place 800-yard freestyle relay and the first-place 400-yard freestyle relay teams.

The women's team finished in third at the 15^th Annual SCAD Swimming Invite.

The Bees will remain at home to host Rollins College on January 4 at 10:00 a.m.
