Men’s Soccer Puts Up Fight in OT Loss to Keiser

QUICK GOAL: The SCAD men's soccer team put up a fight against No. RV Keiser University Sunday evening but fell 2-1 in overtime.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 3-4, 1-2 TSC while the Seahawks are now 5-4, 2-1 TSC.
 
DID YOU KNOW? This game was originally started on Saturday but 40 minutes into action the game was postponed due to inclement weather.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: Keiser took a 1-0 lead at the 32:57 mark to take a 1-0 lead with 12-miinute remaining in the first half. 
 
SCAD answered just under 10 minutes later when McKinley Fodness found the back of the net to tie the game going into halftime.
 
Neither team would score for the remainder of regulation play with SCAD's last chance to clinch the win coming at the 83:51 mark when a shot from Tom Barry went wide.
 
In the 97thminute, the Seahawks took the win on a header goal.
 
BOX SCORE: The Bees totaled 12 shots, five on goal and totaled five corner kicks.
 
Fodness tallied the lone goal for the Bees on two shots. Lewis Gamble totaled six shots, four of which were on goal, while Tom Barry added two shots.
 
Ty Bennett and Jesus Ulloa took one shot each.
 
Goalie Joe Parker nabbed seven saves in his 96:48 minutes of work.
 
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will travel to Florida Memorial on Saturday, October 12 for an 11:00 a.m. game.
