Women’s Soccer Suffers 3-1 Loss to No. 4 Southeastern

QUICK GOAL: The SCAD women's soccer team traveled to No. 4 Southeastern Wednesday night for a Sun Conference match-up and lost 3-1.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 8-6-1, 5-3-1 TSC while the Fire improve to 14-3, 8-1 TSC.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Fire scored the first goal of the game in the 20thminute to take a 1-0 lead.
 
SCAD's Annie Sullivan tied it when she scored from 30 yards out at the 30:26 mark. 
 
Unfortunately for the Bees, Uchenna Kanu scored her 30thand 31stgoals of the season at the 43:31 and 67:50 marks to give Southeastern the 3-1 win.
 
BOX SCORE: The Bees defense held the Fire to only eight shots on goal while goalie Elisa Dogor totaled five saves.
 
Sam Manelis totaled five of SCAD's 16 shots while Sullivan totaled four. Madison Lambert and Natalia Zapata took two shots each while Hannah Amidon, Helena Godmann and Noel Thompson took one.
 
WHAT'S NEXT? SCAD remains on the road for the final regular season game of the year when they face Ave Maria on November 2 at 11:00 a.m.
