Men’s Soccer Ties No. 13 St. Thomas on the Road

QUICK GOAL: The SCAD men's soccer team traveled to No. 13 St. Thomas University on Saturday night and tied 2-2 in double overtime in the Sun Conference Game of the Week.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 5-4-2, 3-2-2 TSC, while the Bobcats are now 10-2-1, 4-2-1 TSC.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: St. Thomas scored the first two goals of the game with the first coming at the 22:10 mark. The second goal came just under five minutes into the second half.
 
Tom Barry scored the first goal on a penalty kick of the game for the Bees at the 82:01 to cut the lead in half.
 
Lewis Gamble tied the game in the 85thminute to send the game into overtime.
 
Neither team scored during overtime to end the game in a 2-2 tie.

DID YOU KNOW? This is Gamble's first goal of his collegiate career.
 
BOX SCORE: Matteo Tizzano led the Bees in shots with two. Barry and Gamble were one for one in goals and shots while McKinley Fodness and Ty Bennett totaled one shot each.
 
Goalie Joe Parker nabbed four saves in the 110 minutes.
 
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will host Warner University on Wednesday, October 30 at 7:00 p.m.
