QUICK SCORE: The SCAD women's soccer team traveled to Johnson & Wales University and is coming home with a 3-3 double overtime tie.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 6-5-1, 3-2-1 TSC while the Wildcats are 10-2-1, 5-1-1 TSC.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Just over 18 minutes into the game, the Wildcats scored the first goal to take a 1-0 lead.
Sam Manelis knotted the game at one at the 31:37 mark off an assist from Annie Sullivan.
Neither team scored for the remainder of the first half to start the second tied at one.
Johnson and Wales scored first in the second half at the 51:03 mark but Manelis tied the game again two minutes later off a pass from Julia Rauch.
Once again, the Wildcats took the lead but Manelis tied the game at three-all on a penalty kick goal in the 84thminute.
The game was forced into overtime as neither team scored for the remainder of regulation.
In the first overtime period both teams took one shot and SCAD's went high while Johnson & Wales's was saved by Elisa Dogor.
Despite taking three shots each, the second overtime period remained scoreless to end the game at 3-3.
HAT TRICK: Manelis scored all three of SCAD's goals for her third hat trick of the season.
BOX SCORE: The Bees outshot the Wildcats 24-17, nine of which were on goal.
Manelis led the way for the Bees with seven shots, four on goal and three goals.
Hannah Amidon and Annie Sullivan totaled four shots each with Sullivan adding an assist. Rebecca Watson and Mikaela Heyboer tallied two shots each while Helena Godmann, Rauch, Noel Thompson and Caitlin O'Toole added one each. Rauch totaled on assist as well.
Goalie Elisa Dogor totaled five saves in her 110 minutes of work.
