QUICK SERVE: The SCAD women's tennis team traveled to Georgia Southern for the Fall Shootout on October 11-13th.
SHOOTOUT INFO: The tournament, consisting of NCAA DI, DIII institutions. The Bees were the only NAIA team at the event and picked up win against Division I Florida A&M, Jacksonville State, Arkansas State and Division III powerhouse Emory.
COACH WORTH: "Overall the ladies looked good against what may be the toughest opponents of the year" stated Head Coach Worth Richardson. "Our fitness, movement and shot tolerance has improved since Regionals a few weeks ago, but we struggled closing out close sets going 6-17 in sets decided by a score of 6-4, 7-5 or 7-6. Certainly a great experience playing some solid NCAA DI programs, which will play dividends later this season."
