The Bees pulled out the deciding point in the NCAA match format to earn the win in Melbourne, Fla.

DOUBLES ACTION: Valerie Droop and
Nicole Katzarkov won 6-4 at number three doubles.
Johanna Weber and
Priya Sukkanha lost 7-5 at number one double while
Haley Morrissey and
Tova Tilk Tobrand fell 6-2 at number two doubles.
SINGLES ACTION: Sukkanha won 7-5, 3-6, 6-2 at number one singles while Morrissey won 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 at number three singles.
Droop won in the number five singles spot 6-2, 6-1. Katzarkov won 7-5, 6-3 at number six singles.
Weber fell 6-4, 6-3 and Tobrand lost 6-3, 4-6, 6-0 in the numbers two and four singles positions, respectively.
