QUICK SCORE:The SCAD women's soccer team held strong against No. 16 University of Mobile Saturday afternoon, falling 2-1 at neutral site Thomas University.
RECORDS:The Bees are now 3-4 while Mobile improves to 5-3 overall this season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:SCAD tied the game when
Thorhanna Omarsdottir headed the ball back past the goalkeeper off a corner kick from
Sam Manelis.
Unfortunately, The Rams scored on a penalty kick with 33 seconds remaining in the game to clinch the 2-1 win.
BOX SCORE:The Bees totaled six shots with five of those shots going on goal.
Omarsdottir went one for one on shots while
Helena Godmann took two shots on goal.
Hannah Amidon,
Annie Sullivan and
Nikki Abel totaled one shot each.

Eliana Charalambous tallied four saves in her 90 minutes of work.
