QUICK SCORE:The SCAD women's soccer team traveled to Thomas University for a neutral site match-up with No. 3 ranked William Carey Thursday afternoon and lost 7-2.
RECORDS:The Bees are now 3-3 overall this season while the Crusaders are now 5-1 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED:William Carey scored the first four goals of the game with three coming in the first half. The fourth came at the 50:02 mark.
SCAD scored its first goal 10 minutes later when
Maddy Lambert found the back of the net.
Unfortunately, the Crusaders scored three more goals before
Stephanie Guerra scored the last goal of the game off an assist by
Mikaela Heyboer.
BOX SCORE:SCAD totaled eight shots with six of them on goal while
Nikki Abel and Heyboer led the way with two shots each.
Annie Sullivan, Guerra, Lambert and
Savannah Raines totaled one shot each.
Goalies
Elisa Dogor and
Eliana Charalambous split time in the net and totaled five saves each.
