QUICK STORY:The NAIA No. 3 and The Sun Conference (TSC) No. 2 SCAD women's tennis team fell 5-0 to No. 1/No. 1 Keiser University in the TSC finals Friday morning.
RECORDS:The Bees are now 10-5 overall this season while the Skyhawks improve to 20-2. Keiser will get the automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament while SCAD will look to get an at-large bid.
DOUBLES ACTION: SCAD trailed 3-0 at the completion of doubles as
Camille Gbaguidi and
Valerie Droopfell 8-3 at number one doubles.
Johanna Weberand
Karina Rovira lost 8-3 at number two doubles and
Julia Albuquerque and
Nicole Katzarkovdropped an 8-6 decision in the number three double slot.
SINGLES ACTION: Rovira dropped her number four singles match 6-1, 6-0 while Weber Lost at number three singles 6-2, 6-0.
Gbaguidi was down 6-2, 1-0 at number one singles while Droop was down 6-0, 4-4 at the conclusion of the match.
Albuquerque and Katzarkov were down 6-2, 4-0 and 6-2, 3-3 at numbers five and six singles, respectively.
