QUICK HIT: The SCAD women's tennis team handed Reinhardt University its first loss of the season, defeating the Eagles 8-1 at home Wednesday afternoon.

RECORDS: The Bees are now 6-1 overall this season while the Eagles fall to 4-1.

DOUBLES ACTION: Camille Gbaguidi and Valerie Droop dispatched their number one double opponents 8-2 while Johanna Weber and Karina Rovira won 8-2 at number two doubles.

Julia Albuquerque and Nicole Katzarkov won 8-0 at number three doubles.

STRAIGHT SETS: Three artist-athletes defeated their singles opponents in straight sets (6-0, 6-0) – Gbaguidi at number one, Weber at number three and Rovira at number four.

MORE SINGLES ACTION: Droop won 6-3, 6-0 at number two singles while Katzarkov defeated her number six singles opponent 6-4, 6-2.

Albuquerque fell 3-6, 6-2, 10-8 at number five singles.
