HOW IT HAPPENED: Both teams scored five goals in the first quarter with SCAD's
Brendan Buckley scoring the first goal of the game with 13:14 on the clock.

Sean Parmer scored not even two minutes later to take a 2-1 lead. Unfortunately, the Crusaders scored the next three goals to go up 4-2 with 6:53 remaining in the quarter. The Bees out-scored Madonna 3-1 to tie the game at five going into the second quarter.

Madonna went on a 9-2 scoring run over the next two quarters to take a 14-7 lead going into the last quarter.

Even though the Bees scored four more goals in the fourth, it was not enough to overtake the Crusaders who held on for the 18-11 win.

BOX SCORE: Buckley led the way for the Bees' offense, scoring a game-high six goals.
Eric Potts added two goals and one assist while
Spencer Eade, Parmer and
Wolf Zachar totaled one goal each.

Miles Whitworth picked up a team-high four ground balls while
Jackson Bryan totaled a game-high five caused turnovers.

Connor Keehn split time in the cage and nabbed nine and 10 saves, respectively.
