DECATUR, Ala.- SCAD Men's Lacrosse's
Mason Hickman,
David Nebus,
Jonathan O'Bryant Graves and
Sebastian Manuel bring home NAIA All-American honors.
First Team All-Americans: Mason Hickman & David Nebus
Mason Hickman earned First Team All-American honors after an explosive season as the engine of the offense. A true scoring machine, Hickman racked up a staggering 92 points, fueled by an incredible 75 goals and 17 assists on 195 shots. His relentless energy was also evident on the ride, where he collected 28 ground balls and caused 13 turnovers to help secure extra possessions.
Joining Hickman on the First Team is
David Nebus, who was an absolute force on the defensive end of the field. Nebus consistently neutralized opposing threats, leading the charge with 36 caused turnovers and a massive 65 ground balls. He also proved to be a dangerous threat in transition, chipping in offensively with five points stemming from three goals and two assists.
Second Team All-American: Jonathan O'Bryant Graves
Jonathan O'Bryant Graves was named a Second Team All-American following a highly productive and incredibly versatile campaign. Showing remarkable ability on both sides of the ball, he tallied 53 points with 35 goals and 18 assists. His grit and physical presence were highlighted by his elite ability to win the possession battle, scooping up an impressive 71 ground balls and causing 17 turnovers.
Third Team All-American: Sebastian Manuel
Sebastian Manuel secured Third Team All-American honors after a brilliant season as an elite offensive facilitator. Manuel posted 86 points on the year, demonstrating a near-perfect balance as a dual-threat attacker with 40 goals and a team-high 46 assists. His exceptional field vision consistently set up his teammates, and he rounded out his stellar stat line by picking up 20 ground balls and causing 10 turnovers.
The Bees kick off their NAIA National Championship run on Tuesday, May 12 at 7 pm CT to take on No. 3 Aquinas College.
