RECORDS: The Bees are now 4-1 on the season while the Eagles are now 3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The Eagles opened the game with a four-goal run before
Eric Potts scored the only goal of the first half for the Bees off an assist from
Elliot Fish.

Reinhardt went on to score four more goals between the first and second periods to take an 8-1 lead into halftime.
Â
In the third period, SCAD held Reinhardt scoreless while scoring five un-answered goals to cut the Eagles' lead to two (8-6).

The momentum stayed with the Bees as Potts and
Brendan Buckley scored the first two goals of the fourth period to tie the game at eight.
Â
With just under seven minutes remaining in the game, Reinhardt took the lead once again and held it for just over six minutes.

With an unassisted goal at the 30-second mark, Fish tied the game at nine.

Mitch Snider won the faceoff and with 19 seconds on the clock, Potts took a shot that was saved by the Eagles' goalie.

Reinhardt failed the clear attempt and turned the ball over to Snider who picked up the ground ball. Snider got a pass off to Buckley who fired a shot into the back of the net with seven seconds remaining in the game to take the final lead.

Snider won the final faceoff and
Jack Cioffi got the ground ball as the clock ran down to give the Bees the 10-9 win.

DID YOU KNOW? This is the first time since 2014 – minus 2015, because the two teams did not play each other –  that the Bees have defeated the Eagles. In 2014, SCAD won 12-10 at Reinhardt.

BOXSCORE: Buckley led the Bees on offense with four goals and two assists for six points.

Fish totaled three goals and one assist for four points with Potts and Cioffi totaling two goals and one goal, respectively.

Wolf Zachar had two assists while Fish, Snider,
Jude Kuhn and
Spencer Eade totaled one assist each.

Snider totaled a game-high nine ground balls and went 16-22 on faceoffs.
