HOW IT HAPPENED? Montreat scored the first five goals of the game before
Eric Potts found the back of the net to put SCAD on the board (1-5).

The Cavaliers scored two more goals in the first quarter to take a 7-1 lead going into the second.

SCAD's
Brendan Buckley scored the first goal of the second quarter (7-2) and the Bees out-scored the Cavalier's 5-4 but Montreat took a five-point lead (11-6) into the second half.

The Bees scored the first six goals of the third quarter to take their first lead of the game (12-11).

The game was tied twice more before Buckley's goal at the 6:07 mark in the fourth quarter gave SCAD the lead (16-15) that would hold for the remainder of the game.

BOX SCORE: Buckley tied a game-high five goals while adding one assist for a total of six points.

Griffin Hunt and
Sean Parmer scored hat tricks with Hunt totaling two assists for a total of five points.

Jack Cioffi had two goals and one assist while
Elliot Fish, Mitch Snider, Wolf Zachar and Potts added one goal each. Fish and Potts also had one assist apiece.

Jackson Bryan added four.

Connor Goonan (2-0) and
Connor Keehn (1-0) split time in the cage with Keehn totaling eight saves to earn the win.
