No. 9 Men's Lacrosse Dominates at Home

Box Score QUICK SCORE: The No. 9 ranked SCAD Savannah men's lacrosse team dominated No. RV Point University Friday night and won 23-8.
 
RECORDS: The Bees improve to 2-0 while Point is now 0-1.
 
DOMINATING STATS: SCAD out-shot the Skyhawks 36-24 and picked up 37 ground balls to Point's 21. The Bees won 21 of 33 of Face-offs.
 
HIGH SCORERS: Eric Potts totaled a game-high six goals while Mitch Snider and Jack Cioffi tallied four goals each with Cioffi adding two assists.
 
DID YOU KNOW? Cioffi's fourth goal earned him his 100th career point. Congratulations, Jack!
 
BOX SCORE: Brendan Buckley and Sean Parmer added three goals each while Elliot Fish, Jude Kuhn and Miles Whitworth totaled one goal.
 
Kuhn and Griffin Hunt tied a game-high assists with three each. Five other artist-athletes added one assist for a team-total of 13.
 
Snider had a game-high seven ground balls while Joseph Smith had six. Fish, Buckley and Jackson Bryan totaled three ground balls a piece with five artist-athletes totaling two each and another five picking up one.
 
Snider went 12-19 in face-offs while Smith went 9-14.
 
Goalie, Connor Coonan (2-0) earned the win with eight saves in his 60 minutes of work.
 
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees remain at home on Saturday, February 17 to host Montreat College at 4:30 p.m.
