Obrecht, Wutz Named Bees of the Week

SAVANNAH, Ga. – SCAD men's and women's cross country runners Bernhard Obrecht and Lemi Wutz named Bees of the Week for the week ending Nov. 18.

The Bees traveled to Cedar Rapids, Iowa for the 2018 NAIA National Championships on Nov. 16.

Freshman Bernhard Obrecht finished in 54th with a time of 25:28. The Bees placed 32nd overall.

Wutz made history with her All-American seventh-place finish. She averaged 5:40.9 minutes a mile for a race time of 17:39 – only nine seconds from the school record. Her seventh-place finish is the highest finish of a SCAD runner in program history.

The Bees placed 20th overall.
