QUICK SCORE: The SCAD women's soccer team battled the No. 3 ranked Southeastern at home Wednesday night and lost 6-0.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 5-8, 2-4 TSC this season while the Fire improve to 13-1-1, 6-0-1 TSC.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Southeastern scored its first goal quickly, just over six minutes into the half to go up 1-0.
SCAD's defense held tough for most of the remaining first half allowing two goals at the 32:50 and 38:22 marks giving the Fire a 3-0 lead going into halftime.
Southeastern scored three more goals in the second half with the last coming in the 66
thminute as the Bees held the Fire scoreless for the last 24 minutes of the game.
At the 84:00-minute mark
Maddy Lambert took SCAD's last shot on goal of the game and it was saved by the Fire's goalie.
BOXSCORE: Lambert led the way for the Bees, taking two shots with one on goal.
Hannah Amidon took SCAD's other shot on goal with her one shot while
Thorhanna Omarsdottir and
Rebecca Watson rounded out the Bees' offense with one shot each.
