QUICK GOAL: The SCAD women's soccer team traveled to The Sun Conference opponent Webber International Saturday morning and lost 2-1.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 5-7, 2-3 TSC this season while the Warriors are now 4-8, 2-4 TSC.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Bees struck first with a goal by
Maddy Lambert off an assist by
Nikki Abel at the 9:49 mark to take an early 1-0 lead.
The score remained 1-0 going into the half as neither team managed a goal for the remaining 35 minutes of first-half action.
The Warriors tied the game just over 13 minutes into the half. Webber took the lead and the 2-1 win in the 90th minute with their second goal.
SCAD's last chance to score came at the 88:15 mark with
Stephanie Guerra took a shot that was blocked.
BOX SCORE: Both teams took 15 shots over the 90 minutes with four of SCAD's going on goal.
Abel led the way for the Bees on offense with one goal and three shots.
