QUICK HIT: The SCAD Savannah women's tennis team took on Keiser University in the Sun Conference Championship and won 5-3 to win the Sun Conference Tournament.
 
The Bees were down 2-1 at the completion of doubles but were able to battle back and win four singles matches to end the match in SCAD's favor.
 
"The ladies had great doubles points" states head coach Ken Obermeier. "They were able to rally from a 2-1 deficit to earn the win. Everyone played well and Paige Murdock was clutch closer this weekend – clinching both matches for us."
 
RECORDS: The Bees are now 15-3 overall this season and the Seahawks are 13-6.
 
DOUBLES: Johanna Weber and Karina Rovira earned the only point in doubles, defeating their opponents 8-4 at number two doubles.
 
Camille Gbaguidi and Paige Murdock fell 8-4 at number one doubles while Valerie Droop and Julia Albuquerque dropped their number three doubles match 8-5.
 
SINGLES: Gbaguidi defeated her number one singles opponent 6-4, 6-4 while Murdock won 6-4, 6-3 at number two singles. Weber won at number four singles 6-2, 6-0 while Albuquerque won 6-2, 6-2 in the number six position.
 
Rovira fell 6-3, 6-4 at number three singles and Droop was down 4-6, 4-2 in the number five singles position.
