Coach Chris Conlon expressed his pleasure in the number of great swims he saw in Decatur, Georgia as the Lady Bees took on NCAA Emory University

Hannah Legg continues her winning ways by finishing first in two of her competitions.  Leg won the 400 Yard Individual Medley with a time of 4:32.57.  Later on in the meet Legg won the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:00.71.

Caroline Lepesant took home top honors in the 500 Yard Freestyle.  Lepesant's finishing time was 5:09.48.  Lepesant also came in second in the 1000 Yard Freestyle, just 13 seconds behind the Emory winner.

Particularly pleasing to Conlon was the performance by freshman Meagan McManus.  Conlon commented, "[McManus] had a big breakout meet making huge improvements to move among the best in the NAIA in the 100 and 200 freestyles."  McManus had a time of 54.63 in the 100 Yard Freestyle and finished first.  In the 200 Yard Freestyle McManus came in third with a time of 1:58.24.

Beside McManus finishing first in the 100 Yard Freestyle, the SCAD women also finished 2nd, 3rd, and 4th out of the eight swimmers in the event.  Norah Stroh, Becky Dionne, and Claire Partlow completed the sweep in the event.

Things look bright for the Lady Bees this season.  They next take on powerhouse NCAA Georgia Tech when they travel to Atlanta November 9.  The meet begins at 11 a.m.
