Patrick Cardillo swam times of 46.69 in the 100 Freestyle and 1:43.78 in the 200 Freestyle to take first place honors.  In fact, SCAD finished 1-2-3 in the 100 FR with Roger Kjjos and David Scott coming in just behind Cardillo.

In the men's 100 Backstroke Ryan Searles turned in a time of 53.40 to finish in first place.  Finishing just behind Searles was Dan Jardin for second place honors.  Marc Fleischmann won the 100 Yard Breastroke with a time of 1:01.10.

The final victory of the day was achieved by freshman Karl Hegwein in the 500 Freestyle.  Hegwein turned in a time of 4:54.94.  Hegwein also finished in 2nd place in the 400 Yard Individual Medley.  Congratulations to these winners as the early season results foretell a promising 2013-14 season for the men.

Coach Chris Conlon commented, "There were a lot of great swims and I am pleased with the men's progress."

The team will next travel to Atlanta for a meet against another NCAA team at Georgia Tech.  The meet will take place Saturday, November 9, beginning at 4 p.m.
