Men's Swimming Falls Short Against Emory University

Meet Results

The SCAD Men's Swim Team performed well against Emory University, but fell short by 41 points of winning the meet.  The final score of 146-105 included seven 1st place finishes by the Bees.

Ryan Searles (100 BK), Marc Fleischmann (100 and 200 BR), Zach Redpath (100 FR), Kelly Curl (200 BK), Sean Sloat (500 FR), and Elliott Hutchison (100 BF) finished 1st in their individual events.

Second place finishes were accomplished by David Scott (1000 FR), Bradley Green (200 BR), Searles (500 FR), and Ryan Sloat (100 BF).  The 200 Freestyle Relay team of Mark Shvartsman, Redpath, Sean Sloat, and Patrick Cardillo also took a 2nd place.

Because of his times in the 100 and 200 Yard Freestyle events Ryan Sloat qualified for the NAIA National Championships to be held February 27th in Oklahoma City.  Congratulations to Ryan Sloat on his accomplshment.

The Bees return to the Chatham County Aquatic Center 1/26 for a dual meet with Darton College and Limestone College.  The meet begins at 1 p.m.  Go Bees!
