A malfunction with the field lights force the Men's Lacrosse team to play a split double-header with two teams on Saturday. The lights went out on Friday and were not functioning so a decision was made for SCAD to play Dayton and Indiana Tech on Saturday.
SCAD vs. Dayton
It was a tough match, but when the first half ended SCAD was holding a 6-3 advantage over #3 Dayton.. Dayton took advantage, however, in the 3rd period by scoring 6 man-down goals to SCAD's solitary score. It was a fierce battle in the 4th period with each team garnering 3 goals. The final score was 12-10 Dayton. The Bees fell to 1-3 overall.

SCAD vs. Indiana Tech
In the second contest of the day
SCAD squared off against #22 Indiana Tech. The matchup was a close battle with each team countering with scoring opportunities. At the end of the first half the score was knotted at 6 goals each. But coming out of the halftime break SCAD seemed to take control of the contest by outscoring IT by six goals, (7 to 1).
But Indiana Tech did not roll over. They found their momentum and worked it for six 4th period goals. However SCAD persevered in the hard fought match by winning the nightcap 13-11.
