KENNESAW, Ga. – Shelton Polka and
Jordy McManus combined to score nine goals as SCAD Savannah men's lacrosse team closed out their regular season with a 13-6 win over Kennesaw State University Saturday (April 16) evening.
The Bees, who are ranked 10th in the latest Prodigy MCLA Division II Top 25 poll, won their sixth consecutive match as SCAD improved to 11-4. SCAD will return to action April 29 when they will compete in the 2011 Southeastern Lacrosse Conference Division II Tournament in Duluth, Ga.
Shelton Polka led the offense with five goal and one assists while tallying four ground balls for the Bees. McManus registered four goals and one assist while Mike McMcQuaid had two goals, one assist and four ground balls.
Trey McKay and Cole Whiteworth each had one goal while McKay also contributed two assists.
Justin Sicard, who won 11-of-20 face-offs for the Bees, had an assist and collected four ground balls.
Dan Comite also led the Bees with four ground balls.

Kreyton Polka each had five saves against the 16th-ranked Owls.
