ATLANTA – The SCAD Savannah women's swimming team split their double-dual meet against the Emory University and Darton College Saturday (Jan. 22) at the Woodruff PE Center on the Emory campus.

No. 3 SCAD defeated the Cavaliers 193-65 and Emory, which is ranked No. 2, defeated the Bees 170-87. SCAD improved to 6-7.

Liz Roberts took home the lone victory for SCAD as she won the 200-yard breaststroke event in a time of 2:26.08. Roberts also earned a second-place finish in the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:06.79).

SCAD returns to action Feb. 16 when they travel to Charlotte, N.C., for the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships.
