HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – The Savannah College of Art and Design men's lacrosse team opened up their home schedule in a dominating fashion as the Bees swarmed Coastal Carolina University 15-2 Friday (Feb. 26) evening at the SCAD Athletics Complex.
The Bees improved to 3-3 and will return to action at 10 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 28) with a SELC Division II South Division match against The Citadel at the SCAD Athletics Complex.
Shelton Polka led the potent SCAD offense with four goals and four assists.
Trey McKay and
Jordy McManus each tallied three goals with McKay also contributing two assists.
Derek Shurson also registered four assists and added a goal for the Bees while
Dan Ogren had two goals and an assist.
Michael Molinaro,
Mike McQuaid and
Kreyton Polka each scored a goal while #A.J. Getz# had an assist.
Wade Winebrenner had four saves in goal and led a defense which didn't allow a single goal in the second half.
