KENNESAW, Ga. – No. 3-ranked Davenport University defeated No. 15 Savannah College of Art and Design 16-8 in a men's lacrosse match Saturday (Feb. 20) on the campus of Kennesaw State University.
The Bees, who faced their third consecutive ranked opponent, fell to 1-3. SCAD will return to action Sunday (Feb. 21) with a 3:30 p.m. match against Missouri State University in Atlanta.
Jordy McManus led the SCAD attack with five goals while
Shelton Polka added two goals and two assists. #A.J. Getz
also contributed a goal. Trey McKay
tallied two assists while Derek Shurson# added one.
Wade Winebrenner recorded 11 saves in goal for SCAD while
Carlos Marquez added six more.
