LAKELAND, Fla. – Florida Southern College defeated SCAD Savannah 111-93 in a women's swimming meet Friday (Oct. 29) afternoon at the Nina B. Hollis Wellness Center.

SCAD fell to 0-3. The Bees returns to action Saturday (Oct. 30) with a 10 a.m. meet against the University of Tampa in Tampa, Fla.

SCAD won four of the 11 events that were competed in the meet.

Savanah Watts (1,650-yard freestyle, 18:07.60), Claire Partlow (500 freestyle, 5:24.35) and Liz Roberts (100 breaststroke, 1:06.94) picked up individual wins for the Bees. SCAD started the meet with Kelsey Bobzein, Roberts, Gianna Grace and Mary Ashley Krogh winning the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:50.25.
