STATESBORO, Ga. – Georgia Southern University and the College of Charleston (S.C.) swim teams recorded victories over SCAD Savannah in a double dual women's swim meet Saturday (Oct. 23) afternoon at the Recreation Activity Center on the Georgia Southern campus.

The College of Charleston (153-74) and Georgia Southern (139-73) each picked up wins over the Bees. SCAD, the two-time defending NAIA national champions, fell to 0-2.

Liz Roberts picked up the lone win for the Bees as she captured the 200-yard breaststroke event with a time of 2:28.06.

SCAD will return to the pool Friday (Oct. 29) with a 4 p.m. meet against Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Fla.
