STATESBORO, Ga. - Freshman
Shelton Polka set a college record with 10 goals as the 20th-ranked Savannah College of Art and Design men's lacrosse team recorded a 24-4 victory over Georgia Southern University Thursday (April 9) evening.
The Bees improved to 6-11.
Polka led the SCAD attack with 10 goals and three assists. The 10 goals established a new college record, surpassing the previous record of nine set by current teammate
John Healy against Kennesaw State University during the 2007 season. Healy found the back of the net five times against the Eagles while tallying six assists.

Derek Shurson and
Michael Molinaro each scored twice for the Bees while #A.J. Getz# had one. Shurson added three assists while Getz had two. Sicard and Yost also had an assist for the Bees.
