ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Shelton Polka scored five goals as the Savannah College of Art and Design men's lacrosse team defeated Eckerd College 12-9 Saturday (March 7) afternoon.
The Bees won their second consecutive match as they improved to 3-6. SCAD, which has played seven consecutive matches on the road, return to the friendly confines of the SCAD Athletics Complex where they will host Southwestern (Texas) University in a 7 p.m. contest.
John Healy and
Derek Shurson each contributed two goals in the win while
Keaton Monroe, #A.J. Getz
and Michael Molinaro# tallied one each. Healy, Shurson and
Stewart Yost each assisted on two goals while Polka and Monroe had one assist each.
