Second-half rally comes up short in 13-11 loss at Kennesaw State

KENNESAW, Ga. –  A second-half rally came up short for the 14th-ranked Savannah College of Art and Design men's lacrosse team in Sunday's (March 22) 13-11 loss to No. 24 Kennessaw State University.

The Bees fell to 3-9 and will return to action Wednesday (March 25) with a 6 p.m. match against Oberlin College at the SCAD Athletics Complex.

SCAD, which trailed 10-5 at the half, were led by John Healy's four goals and one assist. Trey McKay added two goals while Shelton Polka, Derek Shurson, Michael Molinaro, Justin Sicard and Stewart Yost each found the back of the net once. Polka also assisted on three goals while Shurson tallied one.

Kenan Degirmenci registered 15 saves between the pipes.
