ATHENS, Tenn. - Tennessee Wesleyan College edged the Savannah College of Art and Design men's lacrosse team 10-8 Saturday (Feb. 21) afternoon on the second day of the TWC Lacrosse Invitational.
The Bees, who are ranked No. 13, fell to 0-5. SCAD will look to get into the win column Sunday (Feb. 22) with a 10 a.m. match against Stonehill College.
Shelton Polka led the Bees' scoring attack with four goals and an assist.
John Healy,
Derek Shurson,
Justin Sicard and
Keaton Monroe each tallied a goal. Shurson added three assists and
Stewart Yost registered two. Healy and Polka also each contributed an assist.
Kenan Degirmenci recorded 14 saves in goal for SCAD.
