Biography

2008 Season:
  • Named First-Team All-The Sun Conference.
  • Fifth in the league at 2.9 kills per set and hitting percentage (.213). Also in the top 20 for aces (17th-0.3) and blocks (19th-0.4)
  • Team leader in kills (2.9 kps) and points (3.36 pps).
  • Had six double-doubles, including 11 kills and 20 digs at Embry-Riddle (Fla.) University (Nov. 1).
  • Reached 10 or more kills in 16 matches, including 12 against No. 5 Azusa Pacific University (Aug. 29).
  • Notched a season-high 15 kills to go along with nine blocks and four blocks at Lee University (Sept. 19).
  • Posted a season-best three aces against King College (Sept. 19) and Martin Methodist College (Sept. 20).

2007 Season:
  • Redshirted after transferring from Liberty University.

2006 Season (at Liberty University):
  • Reached 10 kills 16 or more times.
  • Recorded 12 double-doubles throughout the season, including 21 kills and 20 digs against the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
  • Tied a career-high with 21 kills against Davidson College and UNCA.
  • Also had 20 kills versus Birmingham-Southern College.
  • Ranked in the top five on the team in three categories, including second in kills at 3.06 kills per game.
  • Rated third at 2.66 digs per game.
  • Had a 10-kill, 12-dig double-double against Atlantic Coast Conference opponent University of Virginia.

2005 Season (at Liberty University):
  • Ranked second on team with 266 kills and No. 10 in the Big South Conference at 3.24 kills per game.
  • Second player in school history to be named to the Big South All-Freshman Team.
  • Named New Balance Big South Freshman of the Week Oct. 10 and 17.
  • Contributed 21 kills and 15 digs in a five-game win at Davidson (Sept. 13).
  • Included on the all-tournament team at Virginia’s Fairfield Inn Jefferson Cup Tournament (Sept. 16-17).
  • Had 11 kills, 11 digs and a career-high three block solos against James Madison University (Sept. 20).
  • Notched 17 kills, 20 digs and career-high six total blocks at Charleston Southern University (Oct. 7).
  • Totaled 21 kills and 20 digs against UNC Asheville (Oct. 14).
  • Posted 20 kills on a season-best .425 attack percentage with 11 double-doubles against Birmingham-Southern (Oct. 15).

Prep:
  • 2004 Second-Team All-State after an honorable mention selection in 2003.
  • Named to the Alabama North/South All-Star Team in 2004.
  • 2004 first-team all-metro.
  • Three-year letterwinner.
  • Varsity team captain as a senior.
