Bethany Stearns is rejoining the staff at Memorial Health as a staff athletic trainer for Savannah College of Art and Design Athletics, July 2018. She will be providing athletic training coverage for cross country/track & field, swimming, tennis, and equestrian at SCAD.
Bethany returns to SCAD from Advanced Physical Therapy Solutions in Fayetteville, N.C., where she worked with soldiers and athletes in the physical therapy setting helping them to return to work and sport.
Prior to joining SCAD in 2013, she worked for Ellis and Badenhausen Sports Medicine and Orthopedics, serving the University of Louisville athletic teams and also Lemak Sports Medicine and Orthopedics in Birmingham, Ala. serving the area high schools and colleges.
In 2006, Bethany earned her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from Samford University and in 2009, earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Middle Tennessee State University.Â
Her professional sports medicine experience includes the high school, university, orthopedic clinic and military settings.
Bethany currently resides in Savannah with her husband, son and dog.
