For the past 10 years Witt has served as the Director of Performance/Head Coach for the Savannah Swim Team (SST). From 2012-2016 multiple SST swimmers have qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials, U.S. Nationals, and U.S. Jr Nationals.
In 2013 Witt became the National Team Coach for Burkina Faso. In 2014 his athletes won the first ever medals (2 bronze) in the country's history at the African Games in Dakar, Senegal. In 2016, he placed two swimmers on the Burkina Faso Olympic Team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In 2015-2016 Witt was a volunteer-assistant for the SCAD Bees working primarily with the Sprint Freestyle and Breaststroke groups.
From 2011-2015 Witt served as volunteer-assistant for the Georgia Southern Lady Eagles.
Witt has coached internationally at the African Games, Canadian Olympic Trials, Rio Olympic Games, FINA World Cup Series, Islamic Games, and FINA World Championships.
Witt is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach with Distinction. He holds a M.S. In Sports Medicine and in 2011, his research article was published in the Journal of Sports Science entitled Glenohumeral Joint Rotation Range of Motion in Competitive Swimmers.
