This is Marcus’ first year as assistant coach with the SCAD Golf team.
Marcus grew up in West Chester, PA and began playing golf at a very young age quickly falling in love with the sport. In 2010 he decided to start taking golf seriously and began playing junior events. This culminated in him attending the International Junior Golf Academy in Bluffton, SC where he spent his years in high school.
In 2018 he began attending SCAD and played on the golf team until the spring of 2023. Marcus was a part of the team that broke the school tournament scoring record at the SEU Fall Invite in 2021. While at SCAD he got a degree in Sound Design and a double minor in Music Production and Business Management.
Post-graduation, Marcus turned professional having played events in both the US and in England. When the opportunity of being Assistant Coach came around, it was something that he could not turn down. He hopes to bring the experiences and learnings from professional golf into the process and attitude on the SCAD Golf teams. Marcus’ goal is to help the Men’s team return to Nationals and help the Women’s’ team win another National Championship.
