Forrest Howard is entering his second year as Assistant Cycling Coach at SCAD Savannah. A three-time National podium finisher and active UCI-level competitor, he brings both prestige and practical insight to the team. Under his guidance, SCAD delivered a standout performance at the 2025 USA Cycling National Championships in Waterloo, Wisconsin, where Jette Aelken claimed the women’s road race national title.

A passionate advocate for the sport, Forrest holds a B.S. in Geology from Appalachian State University (2015) and earned his M.A. in Design for Sustainability from SCAD in 2024. Before stepping into coaching, he developed technical expertise through years of hands-on experience around the sport and working in the cycling industry. In addition to his mechanical acumen, Forrest brings a wealth of training and racing experience, helping student-athletes thrive both on and off the bike.
