As a senior (2015) … NAIA All-American Honorable Mention, The Sun Conference First Team All-Conference selection, NSCAA All-East Region First-Team Selection, Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 12) … Started 17 games … one of only two players to start every game they played in this season … Besl was a key part of the backline that limited opponents to 1.0 goals per game overall and 0.8 goals per game during conference play … helped the Bees record seven shutouts … Her lone goal came against Thomas as she headed in a corner kick to cut the lead to 2-1 heading into halftime … Tallied an assists in the Bees win over Ave Maria (Oct. 17) … Besl was one of the team captains.
