HARDEEVILLE, S.C. — The No. 3 SCAD Savannah women's lacrosse team faced a tough loss on Wednesday evening, falling 16-10 to NCAA Division II No. 17 Dominican University - New York.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Dominican University established an early lead, outscoring the Bees 7-2 in the opening quarter. McKinsey Brown and Ellen Benintendi each found the back of the net for SCAD in the first frame to keep the Bees within striking distance.
