MOBILE, Ala. – The No. 8 SCAD women's tennis team won 4-0 over No. 20 Reinhardt University on the first day of the Tri-Conference Challenge Thursday afternoon.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 1-1 overall, while the Eagles are 0-1 to start the season.
DOUBLES POINT: SCAD won early at number three doubles as Reinhardt had to forfeit. The Bees' number one doubles team won 6-3 to give SCAD the doubles point and 1-0 lead heading into singles.
SINGLES ACTION: The Bees picked up a point at number six singles due to a forfeit to take a 2-0 lead early on. SCAD won at number three and number five singles to clinch the 4-0 win.
