No. 19 Women’s Soccer Falls 4-1 to No. 3 Keiser in SUN Semifinal

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The No. 19 SCAD women's soccer team faced No. 3 Keiser University and lost 4-1 in the Sun Conference Semifinal on Saturday.
 
RECORDS: The Bees are 9-6-4, while the Seahawks improve to 15-2-1 overall.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: Keiser struck first with a rebound goal from NAME to go up 1-0 in the TIME minute.
 
SCAD answered with just under two minutes remaining in the first half when Ida Akesson took a corner kick from the right side. Her in-ball found Emilia Irle in the middle of the box, who headed it to the left of the goalie to knot the game at one-all heading into halftime.
 
Unfortunately, the Seahawks scored three unanswered goals in the second half to earn the 4-1 win.
 
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: Emilia Irle scored SCAD's lone goal on one shot, while Ida Akesson earned the assist.
 
Haidyn Jenkins and Mia Gomez totaled two shots each, while Lois Beer and Cali Wuestefeld added one a piece.
 
Goalie Saga Bryntesson totaled five saves in her 90 minutes of work.
 
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will wait to see if they will receive an at-large bid to the NAIA National Championship. The selection show is on Friday, November 14.
