DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. – The SCAD cycling team opened the cyclocross season at the Boundary Waters CX, and Gabriel Payne won the Men's Pro 1/2 for the first cyclocross win of the year.
 
RESULTS: Starting off the day, Mea Cleathero finished second in the Women's Pro 1/2 race.
 
Gabriel Payne and Samuel Mayer finished first and second in the Men's Pro 1/2 race, while Andy Scarano finished in fourth and Guilermo Carpio finished in ninth.
 
WHAT'S NEXT? The Bees will travel to Coweta, Ga., for the Coweta CX on Sunday, October 26.
