WAVERLY, Ga. — The SCAD Savannah men's golf team turned in a solid showing at the GC at Sanctuary Cove, competing head-to-head against a strong Coastal Georgia squad.
The Bees finished the event at +15, placing behind the host Mariners, who shot an impressive -5. Despite challenging course conditions and a talented opposing field, SCAD delivered a balanced team performance that reflected steady play and growing cohesion.
Jack Layman led the way for the Bees, carding a +3 to finish among the top ten individually. His teammates Luke Guthrie, Valentin Klawitter, and Felix Straub, Connor Wolf and Connor Scott finished at +4.
Rounding out the Bees, James Fraser finished at +7, while Conrad Gall closed at +9.
The Bees' collective effort demonstrated continued improvement and focus as they move through the fall slate.
