SAVANNAH, Ga. - The SCAD women's soccer team showcased their dominance with a commanding 6-0 victory over Warner University on Saturday.
RECORDS: The Bees are now 8-1-1 (4-0-0 SUN) for the season, while Warner University falls to 3-4-1 (0-4-0 SUN).
HOW IT HAPPENED: SCAD took an early lead with Sydney Chura scoring in the 1st minute, assisted by Emma Parrish. This goal gave Sydney Chura the new record for career goals at SCAD (62). Chura doubled the lead in the 6th minute.
The second half saw SCAD continue their offensive onslaught with Chura scoring again in the 57th minute, assisted by Ines Sommer. This combination not only gave Chura the career points record (157) for SCAD but also gave Sommer the career assist record (32). Sommer added another goal in the 61st minute, assisted by Abigail Siddall. Chura scored her fourth goal in the 64th minute, assisted by Sommer. Hannah Burchfield capped off the scoring in the 70th minute.
